About Me

Hello! My name is Jordan and I am a student of Molecular Biology at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, USA. This year, however, I have traversed the Atlantic and am spending my junior year abroad at the University of Oxford; and so this blog was born! This year, I am a student of Human Sciences at St. Catherine's College (Lovingly know as "Catz"). I am quite excited to embark on this adventure of academic, independence and well, just plain fun. I plan on attending allopathic medical school upon completion of my undergraduate degree (yay more school!).

I am originally from Midwest City, Oklahoma, USA (just outside of Oklahoma City) and spend most of my breaks from school there with my friends and family. (Insert required "Thunder up!" and "Boomer Sooner!" here)

To the right is a picture of me and my best friend, Shelby, mere hours before I left for Oxford. She is fabulous and wonderful and everything I could want in a best friend.

Below is a picture of me and my boyfriend/best friend, Patrick, moments before he left for Oxford in September 2011. I really couldn't describe to you in the space I have here what he means to me. I'll leave it at this: He has pushed me to become all I can be and fulfill my every potential; if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be at Oxford at all. And for that I must be eternally grateful.
